"What a dynamic team!"
"The Kim Alexander Group: Whether you are buying or selling a home, the stress is phenomenal. When you are attempting to move from another state, the stress increases by 100%. Not only are you having to learn new areas, worried about finding a safe neighborhood, wondering about resale opportunities, a safe, sound house, a different housing market, new streets, highways, next to shopping areas but also you have to find a whole new network of physicians, banks, dentists, new job etc. etc. etc. Dennis and I feel we were truly blessed to have been referred to Karen Tanner and your group. Karen listened to every one of our concerns and "wish list" for our future home. She knew exactly what questions to ask to reach our needs and then she jumped into action. The same evening we met-she was already working on a list of potential homes. It was marvelous! She respected our time and communicated with me on e-mail so as not to interfere with my work schedule at the hospital. She worked tirelessly to find just the right home that met our search criteria and needs. She went through listings that matched our needs, then took her valuable time to actually go through these selections herself before taking us through and then made appointments for us to walk through the top three houses on our list. We knew instantly after the first showing that Karen had selected-that was the perfect house for us. She is professional, energetic, pleasant, knowledgeable and has a true gift for working with people. Listening is such a lost art for most people these days-but not for Karen. She kept us updated and informed through every step of this complicated process. She negotiated for us what she estimated was a fair cost. She treated us like her family and friends. We cannot imagine going through this process without her expertise and advise. This has to be one of the most enjoyable experiences we have ever had. Working with Karen was absolutely a joy. We feel so comfortable working with her and your entire office. We are making it our mission to shout to the roof tops for anybody looking for a house or selling a house that your group is where they need to go. Also, working with Misi from Mak Mortgage was a wonderful experience. Misi made a very complex process seem so easy. Misi too has a true gift and her knowledge base is unbelievable. We were very impressed with Misi's professionalism, eye for details and expertise. She and Karen both took care of every detail for us. Dennis and I were able to concentrate on the reason we came to Indiana-our new grandson because we felt so comfortable with Karen and Misi handling every aspect and keeping us informed of all important details. We will never forget this wonderful experience with your group, Karen and Misi. What a dynamic team! Thank you so much for this opportunity to share our experience with you."

Closing or Settlement >A Smooth Closing
If you are in the process of moving from a home you lived in for years, you might be amazed at what lies beneath all your home furnishings! You might stand in your empty house as the moving van pulls away, staring at piles of dust bunnies and years' worth of grime that you didn't know was there. You are tired, and the last thing you feel like doing is scrubbing your house for the new owners. But leaving your home impeccably clean is one of the most important things you can do to ensure a smooth closing.
Your buyers will do their "walk-through" before the closing to make sure that all the systems of the home are in working order and that the agreed-upon repairs were made. They will feel good about the whole process if they walk into a spotless house. This will be their last opportunity to experience an attack of buyers' remorse, and your efforts can minimize any second thoughts they may be having or any crankiness about issues that must be resolved at the closing. If you are not inclined to do the cleaning yourself, hiring a professional cleaner will be worth the investment.
